Elliott Wislar

Chairman and CEO Clearbrook, LLC

Elliott Wislar is the CEO and Founder of Clearbrook, a $13 billion global asset management and advisory firm with a strong presence across Asia and Europe. He has created strategic partnerships with LG Nova, MUFG, and launched three NYSE-traded ETFs. Previously, he held senior roles at UBS, Fleet Bank, and The Boston Company, helping grow institutional AUM from $6B to $226B. Elliott is also an accomplished sailor, a published author, and holds a BA from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, with advanced studies at Kellogg.

Bill Shevlin

Managing Director

Bill Shevlin is a Solar and Microgrid Solutions Specialist with deep expertise in designing and delivering resilient, end-to-end energy systems. He specializes in custom microgrid architecture, solar PV engineering, and energy storage integration for commercial, residential, and utility-scale projects. Bill has led the development of microgrids for critical facilities, overseeing power generation, distribution, and advanced control systems. His experience spans grid interconnection and islanding controls, SCADA implementation, virtual power plant (VPP) integration, and energy management strategies including demand response and power quality optimization. Bill has extensive experience in negotiations generating over $3B in opportunities. He developed and negotiated over $1B in high-margin business over the past 15 years. 

John Iannone

Managing Director

John Iannone is a former Navy Nuclear Submariner and senior executive with 35+ years of leadership across engineering, operations, and manufacturing. He has led large-scale product development, facility construction, and automation initiatives in industries including data centers, pharmaceuticals, steel, and consumer goods. John is known for building high-performance teams, driving cultural transformation, and delivering complex programs—often exceeding $60M—on time and within budget. He has managed operations of 1,000+ employees for global organizations including IBM, Nucor, and Johnson & Johnson. John holds an MBA from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Thomas Edison University.

Martin Hack

Managing Director, AI Strategy

Martin Hack is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and technology executive with over two decades of experience building, scaling, and monetizing transformative platforms at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and energy infrastructure. He is the co-founder and CEO of Skytree, Inc., one of the first commercially viable enterprise machine learning platforms, whose capabilities spanned fraud detection, predictive maintenance, credit scoring, and marketing optimization across financial services, insurance, retail, energy, and defense. Skytree attracted backing from U.S. Venture Partners, Samsung, UPS, and In-Q-Tel, and was ultimately acquired by Infosys, where its technology was integrated into the Infosys Nia AI platform as a center of excellence for advanced machine learning. At Sun Microsystems, Martin held full P&L responsibility for Trusted Solaris, growing the product line from $4M to $1.8B in two years while advising U.S. intelligence agencies, military organizations, and Fortune 50 companies on secure infrastructure. At GreenBorder, he shaped the product marketing and go-to-market strategy for browser security technology that, following Google’s acquisition, became the architectural foundation for Google Chrome. At SonicWALL, he launched a global managed services program for over 12,000 channel partners in under six months. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Business from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Martin resides in Silicon Valley, where he follows soccer – having played for FC Bayern Munich – and enjoys travel, reading, and playing guitar.

Nick Herrington

Senior Vice President of Technology and Energy Storage Services

Nick Herrington has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, specializing in energy storage systems (ESS) and solar power. He has worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at LG Electronics and held leadership roles at Baker Electric and Independent Energy Solutions, overseeing large-scale projects and driving strategic initiatives. Known for combining technical expertise with strategic insight, Nick delivers scalable, sustainable solutions that help organizations achieve energy independence, reduce costs, and advance renewable energy adoption.

Meghan Brookler

Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development

Meghan Brookler is a senior business development and partnerships executive with over a decade of experience operating at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, real assets, and climate technology. She has led and advised on initiatives exceeding $1 billion in aggregate project value, with deep expertise in deal origination, capital formation, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder alignment across the public and private sectors, and has cultivated an extensive network spanning infrastructure funds, private equity, family offices, and tax equity partners. Previously, Meghan served as Director of Business Development & Partnerships at Nova Climate Construction, where she helped restructure the firm into a climate-focused construction and software platform. Prior to that, she advised TGE Climate Construction, spearheading more than $500M in global business development efforts and supporting cross-functional teams through early-stage project development and capital alignment. Her prior experience also includes leadership roles at Mavericks Microgrids, Facet Power, and Green Hydrogen Capital, where she focused on distributed energy systems, green hydrogen supply chains, and project finance partnerships across the U.S. and Africa. Meghan is also the founder of Build Meaning Advisory and serves as Co-Chair of the Urban Land Institute Northwest ESG Committee. She holds an M.S. in Nutrition & Integrative Health and has completed executive and professional training in energy resilience, impact finance, venture capital, and social impact strategy. A Pacific Northwest transplant with East Coast roots, Meghan is based in Seattle and is a proud mother of two daughters who share a deep family commitment to environmental stewardship. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, travel, and music.

Sarah Biller

Director

Sarah is an entrepreneur, investor, and educator. She is the co-Founder of FinTech Sandbox, Capital Market Exchange (CMX), and Vantage Ventures. She also works across the public, private and academic sectors as an Advisor to senior executives and elected officials on matters related to the development and adoption of Artificial Intelligence, Data Infrastructure and Financial Technology. Previously, she was the COO for Innovation at State Street Bank and Head of the bank’s Innovation Ventures efforts and taught at Brandeis University. Sarah has also held roles at Fidelity Investments; worked on MCI’s corporate venture team; and launched and led research divisions for Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers at the Corporate Executive Board. She holds a BS in Finance from West Virginia University and was conferred an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters by Davis & Elkins College for her professional and societal contributions.

Suzanne Grimes

Director

Suzanne is a seasoned media executive and strategic advisor with over 30 years of experience in content, media, and technology. She most recently served as President of Westwood One, the largest audio network in the U.S., where she launched a top podcast network and led major partnerships with the NFL, NCAA, and the Masters. Previously, she held leadership roles at iHeart Media, Reader’s Digest, Conde Nast, and News Corp, overseeing multi-billion-dollar operations that included the growth of the Rachel Ray franchise and the global expansion of Allrecipes.com. Early in her career, she worked at Nestlé in Switzerland and NPDC, a pioneer in data mapping. Suzanne currently advises Clearbrook, LLC, a global investment and asset management firm focused on sustainable investing. She holds a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

John Shamsey

Director

John has an extensive background and expertise in building organizations and developing successful commercialization strategies. He has over 30 years of sales, marketing, and executive leadership experience with demonstrated success in business growth as a corporate executive and an entrepreneur. He was the Founder & former President of Evoke Navience, a full-service specialty strategy and marketing agency and led the organization to rapid growth and expansion to become one of the fastest growing market access agencies in the healthcare industry. He continues to provide executive consulting, is a Senior Advisor with ClearImpact Ventures on the Nova Prime I Fund, and serves as a Board Member for a number of private equity and VC backed companies. John earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration from Villanova University.
