The firm also announced that Meghan Brookler has joined as Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development.
Mr. Hack will lead the development of AI capabilities across the energy infrastructure value chain, including VPP orchestration, BESS optimization, and data center performance. In addition, he will oversee the integration of AI across the broader investment platform at Clearbrook, LLC, parent company of CES.
Mr. Hack is an accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience developing and scaling enterprise platforms at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, data, and energy infrastructure. Notably, Mr. Hack founded Skytree, an enterprise machine learning platform, and held senior roles at Sun Microsystems during a period of revenue expansion to approximately $1.8 billion. His experience spans early-stage venture development through advisory work with Fortune 50 companies. Mr. Hack holds a degree in Computer Science and Business from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences in Germany.

As Vice President, Partnerships and Business Development Ms. Brookler will be responsible for supporting the expansion of CES’s vertically integrated platform and project finance operations, including relationship management, project coordination, and partnership development.
Ms. Brookler brings more than a decade of industry experience with a demonstrated track record across initiatives exceeding $1 billion in aggregate project value. Prior to joining CES, Ms. Brookler served as the Director of Business Development & Partnerships for Nova Climate Construction. She previously held roles at Mavericks Microgrids, Facet Power, and Green Hydrogen Capital, focusing on distributed energy systems and infrastructure finance partnerships. Ms. Brookler holds a B.A. from Antioch University and an M.S. in Nutrition & Integrative Health from Maryland University.
