New York, NY — February 2, 2026 — Clearbrook Energy Solutions (CES), a next generation global energy company that provides a full-stack BESS and VPP platform built to modernize grid reliability, announced today an enhanced leadership team. The leadership includes seasoned veterans from across the energy storage and manufacturing sectors with specific knowledge of BESS and VPP systems. Launched in June 2025, CES is Foreign Entity of Concern (FEOC) compliant, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Clearbrook, LLC, the $13.5b asset manager and advisory.
The leadership team is composed of the following executives (biographies follow below):
- Bruce Sher, Chief Executive Officer
- Bill Shevlin, Managing Director
- John Iannone, Managing Director

“I am delighted to announce the expanded leadership team of CES,” said Elliott Wislar, Chairman and CEO of Clearbrook, LLC and Chairman of CES. “Collectively, the team brings a range of expertise and capabilities so we can provide our customers with a fully integrated solution to help accelerate the global transition to reliable, secure and intelligent energy. Ultimately, we believe our business will deliver economic growth, grid resilience, financial returns and long-term sustainable outcomes.”
“With 84% of BESS solutions coming from China, there is an enormous and growing demand for alternative providers of BESS and VPP systems. In addition, there is an urgent and unmet need for homegrown, FEOC-compliant, U.S.-based BESS manufacturers that can ensure our nation’s energy security,” said Wislar. “From Day 1, we have built CES to be FEOC compliant so we can capture this opportunity quickly and at scale.”
